Flinders Chase National Park - Coastal Trek

Cape De Couedic to West Bay...

For all those serious trekkers and experienced bush walkers, we’ve got some great news! The Coastal Trek from Cape De Couedic to West Bay in Flinders Chase National Park is now open.

This is a really challenging trek - it is unmarked and there is no trail – in fact, following the coast on top of the ruggedcliffs is your only directional tool. Those with the ambition to take this on can camp at Snake Lagoonand West Bay (bookings required) and must be self-sufficient as there is no fresh water or supermarkets along the way!

Please note that trekkers need to discuss their route with Rangers from Flinders ChaseNational Park and complete a Trip Intentions’form prior to a trek.
