Saar River House at American River, with views of the Bay,  is ideal for two to five couples.

Located high on the hillside with sea views plus native vegetation all around, this property is a bird lover's paradise.  For those wanting to relax and enjoy the luxury of this property, be it creating a meal in the kitchen, taking a spa with a view!!! or watching televison in one of the four bedrooms (or lounge), this property is for you.

This property is unsuitable for children under 14 years of age. If you have a child 14 and over, the rate per night is the same as the adult rate,  just add anyone 14 and over in the total number of people in the extra adult section, when making your booking.

The property is  on the hill,and we advise visitors the driveway (bitumen) is steep, and can take two vehicles.  Entrance to the house itself is by way of an internal staircase, so check the fitness levels of those travelling with you.   Having said this, once inside, or on the verandah, the sheer luxury and wow factor is worth a holiday at Saar River House. 

Just 3 minutes by car  to the launching ramp at American River, a 5 - 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, with the post office close by.   Picturesque walks with information bays along the way providing details of the prolific birdlife to be seen at close quarters in both the sea and trees.

Please note there is a $250 bond payable in advance of your stay at Saar River House, refundable within 7 working days from date of departure. The owner reserves the right to withhold all or some of the bond monies in the event of  breakages, damage, or removal of owners possessions from the property.  Guests are asked to leave the property in a neat tidy manner (ie dishes done), all rooms left tidy - however if excessive cleaning is required at the end of your stay, the owner reserves the right to take an additional cleaning fee of between $50 and  $100 from the bond monies.
